About Ballet Foundations

Foundation in ballet is the perfect accompaniment to all other dance styles. It builds strength, flexibility, core stability and improves your posture. WAPS Ballet Foundations is a specialised class for adults to get extra practise working on the foundations of ballet. An excellent class for students who are new to ballet and want to familiarise themselves with the techniques and terminology of ballet, or even for more experienced students who want some extra practise during the week. This class is open to students even if they are not enrolled in WAPS Ballet classes.

What to Wear

Comfortable clothing, with form-fitting bottoms (i.e. tights, jazz pants, shorts etc). Ballet shoes preferred but class can also be taken in socks or bare feet.
