About Musical Theatre

Ever wondered what Glee club is really like? Come and find out in this exciting class! Just like the show, our Glee Club/Musical Theatre course is all about bringing out the inner singing, dancing and theatrical star inside all of us. A fun, exciting and modern way to develop your triple threat talents, students will transform popular and catchy tunes into spectactular stage numbers.

Students will learn all core elements of musical theatre including auditions, musicianship, vocal training and projection, harmonies, pitch, stage craft and presence, performance skills, characterisation, theatrical dance, performance endurance, teamwork, improvisation and acting. Students will learn how to confidently combine all these skills and work to their strengths to be part of a dynamic musical theatre team!

The class covers a range of repertoire throughout the year, including numbers from some of the best contemporary and classic musicals.

What to Wear

WAPS uniform or comfortable clothing you can move in such as trackpants, leggings, tights, t-shirts, tank tops etc. Closed toe shoes.
