The Ultimate Showgirl Workshop is coming!

Gigi Glamoure Showgirl WorkshopLady Velvet Cabaret and The WA Performance School present The Ultimate Showgirl workshop with special guest Georgina Charteris!

Join Georgina Charteris (AKA Miss Gigi Glamoure), Melbourne-based professional cabaret dancer for a special one-off Ultimate Showgirl workshop!

Touring W.A. presenting specialist dance workshops, Georgina will teach the arts of Chair, Cabaret and Showgirl dance styles at The WA Performance School Subiaco studio on Saturday 19th July from 10am-11.30am.

This workshop is suitable for adult dancers of all levels, covering warm ups, techniques, and choreography in the sultry Showgirl style! Places for this workshop are limited, and are open to the public – so you don’t need to be a current WAPS or LVC student to join!

Places are $25 each and bookings can be made in person at the studio, or via email to info@ladyvelvetcabaret.com.au, or by calling the studio directly on (08) 9388 6970.

Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!
