End Of Year Concert

At the WA Performance School, we pride ourselves in delivering professionally organised and entertaining showcases, year after year. Every year since its inception over 20 years ago, WAPS has held an end-of-year concert showcasing the talent and hard work of its students. While it is not compulsory for our students to participate in the concert, it is certainly encouraged. The concert is a great opportunity for those looking for the chance to perform onstage, build their confidence, experience the excitement of performing in front of hundreds of people, and most importantly, have lots of fun in a fully supportive environment!

I think we would be in deep dark depression if we couldn’t continue with dancing during COVID-19 lockdown.  It’s so important for the girls to continue to have this creative outlet as everything else seems to have “closed up” for undetermined lengths of time.  We look forward to our weekly interactions and hope to see your smiling faces in person again soon!

I just wanted to let everyone know that the end of year concert was great! We were so impressed by all the performances and we have a great memory of our daughters first concert. We also want to thank Miss Sarah for being an outstanding dance teacher with a lot of patience. She is truly great at what she does and you can tell she loves her role!

Oscar, his friends and all the parents had the most amazing time, and it was all because of how great the Urban Grooves party was run! There were smiles for days in our household, rewatching videos of the dances they created and the games they all played! Kids birthday parties are stressful. Honestly yourself and WAPS not only made this the most memorable birthday party Oscar has ever had but by far the most enjoyable for everyone, siblings, friends, parents and of course the birthday boy!!

I was so proud of how Ruby embraced every minute of the dance and seeing her dance back here (our weekly Wednesday Dalwallinu dance has started) her confidence, composure and projection to the (imaginary) audience (in our lounge room) has made a progressive jump disproportionate to normal development.
