I’d like to say thank you to WAPS staff for the end of year concert on Saturday and for all the hard work put in throughout the year, especially Miss Gina. Isabella has come a long way since the beginning of the year and built up confidence to do the concert. She had a great time and I couldn’t be prouder!

Just wanted to firstly say thank you very much for teaching Ava singing this last term, it’s emphasized the fact that she likes doing it. She loved being apart of your class and can you please pass on my thanks to Miss Emily and Miss Izzie as she loved participating in their little groovers class. Many thanks!

Thanks for putting on such a fantastic concert again this year. Merry Christmas to all WAPS teachers. You are an amazing bunch of people and my girls are so proud to be part of your dance school.

Hi Stella, What an amazing day – the performances were outstanding. You should be very proud of having put on a very professional, enjoyable show. I just want to say what an incredible place WAPS is. It’s a truly magical haven where I not only feel I can be myself but better myself at the same time. As well as going from someone with next to zero dance experience to someone with growing skills that I’m so proud of, I have also grown so much personally this last twelve months and it is thanks to the incredible staff. It is always great interacting with anyone there and Em and Sarah are just absolutely incredible. The show was so much fun Saturday and my folks found the professionalism and quality outstanding! Thanks for everything 2018 at WAPS has given me and I just so can’t wait till 2019 and DEX!

Thank you so much for creating such a great and welcoming place and I’ll continue to recommend the studio to all of my friends. Hopefully I’ll be able to still come see the shows and support the girls in the future!

I was so proud of how Ruby embraced every minute of the dance and seeing her dance back here (our weekly Wednesday Dalwallinu dance has started) her confidence, composure and projection to the (imaginary) audience (in our lounge room) has made a progressive jump disproportionate to normal development.

I have seen a huge improvement with her focus on dance and school work. I would like to thank all her dance teachers for guiding her and giving her the confidence to “give it a go

I have nothing but positive comments! WAPS has an amazing vibe and classes were fun and I always left feeling happy and accomplished! I used to get very shy about the thought of attending dance classes but WAPS was such a judgement free zone it made me feel comfy and able to enjoy myself!

Thank you Sarah. It was a fantastic night and everyone was so impressed with your performers! They did a fantastic job and it was so much fun 🙂 The bride was delighted with everything too!

Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

I’d like to start this email by commending WAPS for the pro-active and innovative way you have managed the current COVID-19 situation we are experiencing – they way you were able to embrace and mobilize technology, and your excellent communications, to keep classes running has been really impressive. Sadly not all kids activities have managed to do this so as a parent now grappling with school and work at home, I am truly grateful and my daughter is loving her Zoom classes!

Dancing at DEX was an unforgettable experience that has taught me so much as a dancer and educator. To learn from some of my idols and perform on an international scale was incredible and the lessons learned and friends made will stay with me for a long time! Seeing the growing confidence and boost in skills of all WAPS dance team members has been fantastic and I can see the long-term benefits of the trip will be felt in the studio for years to come.

It was excellent thank you. The dancer was so engaging and created such a lovely atmosphere of fun and joy.

I just wanted to thank you for offering the class via Zoom. It’s so great for her to be able to join in with something fun every week and continue her dancing till things get back to being able to be out and about safely. It’s so important for children to be able to connect in this way and feel part of something familiar. This season, my boy has missed over 7 hours of soccer a week and I really feel for him not being able to have the physical activity and mental health benefits that group sports and being part of a team offers. They send videos of training exercises he can do in the yard, which is great, but just not the same.

We really enjoy the classes! Emily is a great teacher, very patient and understanding and the classes are loads of fun!

I am so glad that not only I found dance but I found it at a place that has the most incredible staff and students. When you do something that is out of your comfort zone you want to be in an environment that makes you feel safe, secure and supported and that is exactly what you guys have here. Every time I come to dance I feel like I am with what family is supposed to be like and I love every minute of it. Whether I arrive in a positive headspace or not, I always leave at least slightly better or have challenged myself.

I was so impressed with the junior concert on Saturday. Seemed like there was no pressure on the kids, they just got to have fun, the acts moved through quickly and was really enjoyable! Thanks for all the effort in putting it together.

My daughter always enjoys the drama class and comes home with big smiles every Tuesday. Thank you and the teachers for the teaching, encouragement and great opportunities. I can’t wait to see the performance in December.

Dear Stella and team, Just a short note to say how incredibly impressed I was with today’s Junior concert. No doubt the logistics required to produce such a seamless event would have been huge from sourcing the costumes, ensuring each child was dressed and ready on time, the tight routines, communicating expectations to parents, coordinating the rehearsals etc etc. I commend you and your staff for such a professional and enjoyable production. No doubt the senior concert was a success too. My daughter only joined her tap class mid way through term 4 yet from day one she was made to feel at ease and encouraged to perform in the concert despite an obvious lack of experience. Her teacher Sarah was so gorgeous in making her immediately feel like she was an important and special part of the class. Anyway, congratulations again and hopefully now you can all relax in time for Christmas. See you next year!

My dance skills have improved dramatically since being taught by you. WAPS is by far the best dance school I have ever been to and you are the best coach. Thank you so much for everything!
