Dancing at DEX was an unforgettable experience that has taught me so much as a dancer and educator. To learn from some of my idols and perform on an international scale was incredible and the lessons learned and friends made will stay with me for a long time! Seeing the growing confidence and boost in skills of all WAPS dance team members has been fantastic and I can see the long-term benefits of the trip will be felt in the studio for years to come.

Oscar, his friends and all the parents had the most amazing time, and it was all because of how great the Urban Grooves party was run! There were smiles for days in our household, rewatching videos of the dances they created and the games they all played! Kids birthday parties are stressful. Honestly yourself and WAPS not only made this the most memorable birthday party Oscar has ever had but by far the most enjoyable for everyone, siblings, friends, parents and of course the birthday boy!!

Just wanted to send you a big big thank you for all your help in coordinating Shelley’s hens night on Saturday! Everyone had a fabulous evening. Claire was amazing! It’s not easy rounding up 35 very loud women but she did a superb job! So please pass on my praise! Will definitely contact you in the future and pass on your website to others. You definitely took the stress away… Thanks again!!

Big thank you for a gorgeous night! Fabulous Christmas to you all, thank you for making Chanelle’s year so special she has had a wonderful first year at WAPS.

We wanted to say thank you to all of the teachers and assistants who have taught her so much over the last couple of years. She has really grown in her skill level and confidence, and I am very grateful for all the time taken for her, and also the faith that has been put in her abilities by her teachers. WAPS is an amazing dance school, and provided her with many opportunities that she would never have had otherwise.

I have seen a huge improvement with her focus on dance and school work. I would like to thank all her dance teachers for guiding her and giving her the confidence to “give it a go

I’d like to start this email by commending WAPS for the pro-active and innovative way you have managed the current COVID-19 situation we are experiencing – they way you were able to embrace and mobilize technology, and your excellent communications, to keep classes running has been really impressive. Sadly not all kids activities have managed to do this so as a parent now grappling with school and work at home, I am truly grateful and my daughter is loving her Zoom classes!

I think we would be in deep dark depression if we couldn’t continue with dancing during COVID-19 lockdown.  It’s so important for the girls to continue to have this creative outlet as everything else seems to have “closed up” for undetermined lengths of time.  We look forward to our weekly interactions and hope to see your smiling faces in person again soon!

I just want to say what an incredible place WAPS is. It’s a truly magical haven where I not only feel I can be myself but better myself at the same time. As well as going from someone with next to zero dance experience to someone with growing skills that I’m so proud of, I have also grown so much personally this last twelve months and it is thanks to the incredible staff. It is always great interacting with anyone there and Em and Sarah are just absolutely incredible. The show was so much fun Saturday and my folks found the professionalism and quality outstanding! Thanks for everything 2018 at WAPS has given me and I just so can’t wait till 2019 and DEX!

Just wanted to say thank you for attending the Chilli Fest – the ladies were great! They looked awesome and had so much fun having photos, dancing and providing atmosphere at the festival (even helping out at the chilli eating comp!)

I’d like to say thank you to WAPS staff for the end of year concert on Saturday and for all the hard work put in throughout the year, especially Miss Gina. Isabella has come a long way since the beginning of the year and built up confidence to do the concert. She had a great time and I couldn’t be prouder!

We really enjoy the classes! Emily is a great teacher, very patient and understanding and the classes are loads of fun!

My daughter and I are so happy to have found this school. The teachers and staff are wonderful and genuinely caring, from the very first day we walked through the doors to now (a good 2 years later!!) The only school we’ve come across where not just another number!

She had a great time on Saturday night, it was great to see her back on stage, after 3 very long years of illness. Definitely made our end of year, very special ? I would just like to thank Miss Emily, for being such a gorgeous teacher to the girls!!! She is really excited about coming back in 2017.

She really enjoyed the classes and I want to thank the instructors for their care for the kids. We were only with your school for a term though we were made very welcome and my daughter had a lovely time. When we move back to Perth in a few years I’ll be sure to look at re-enrolling her.

I was so proud of how Ruby embraced every minute of the dance and seeing her dance back here (our weekly Wednesday Dalwallinu dance has started) her confidence, composure and projection to the (imaginary) audience (in our lounge room) has made a progressive jump disproportionate to normal development.

I just wanted to thank you for offering the class via Zoom. It’s so great for her to be able to join in with something fun every week and continue her dancing till things get back to being able to be out and about safely. It’s so important for children to be able to connect in this way and feel part of something familiar. This season, my boy has missed over 7 hours of soccer a week and I really feel for him not being able to have the physical activity and mental health benefits that group sports and being part of a team offers. They send videos of training exercises he can do in the yard, which is great, but just not the same.

My dance skills have improved dramatically since being taught by you. WAPS is by far the best dance school I have ever been to and you are the best coach. Thank you so much for everything!

Thank you Isabel for facilitating my daughter to trial both cheerleading and acro. Her teachers were so gorgeous as she gets super anxious, and she was armed with many questions that her teachers answered with grace! We are so grateful.

Dear WAPS Staff, Organisers, and parent helpers, Thank you for your amazing efforts in organising and managing such an entertaining and rewarding Junior Concert. It was a wonderful confidence-building exercise and it was heart-warming to see that the junior performers enjoyed themselves on stage, too. As a parent, I am sincerely grateful for how well you looked after the children backstage and it was charming to watch the teachers leading the younger ones on stage, especially the patient and graceful Miss Sarah (whom my daughter Zahra adores). We hope to enrol Zahra for the Friday afternoon Tiny Ballerinas class next year, so I’ll be getting onto it soon. Best wishes for a merry season and here’s to a gorgeous year ahead!
