Looking for performing arts classes in Perth? At The WA Performance School we are proud to offer a wide range of dance classes plus training in musical theatre, acrobatics, voice, piano and more – for students of all ages and abilities. All students have the option to perform at our End of Year Concert, and students who want more performance opportunities can join or audition for our range of Performance Troupes! We accept enrolments into most classes throughout the year, so contact us to find out more about joining a class today!

Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

Oscar, his friends and all the parents had the most amazing time, and it was all because of how great the Urban Grooves party was run! There were smiles for days in our household, rewatching videos of the dances they created and the games they all played! Kids birthday parties are stressful. Honestly yourself and WAPS not only made this the most memorable birthday party Oscar has ever had but by far the most enjoyable for everyone, siblings, friends, parents and of course the birthday boy!!

I was so proud of how Ruby embraced every minute of the dance and seeing her dance back here (our weekly Wednesday Dalwallinu dance has started) her confidence, composure and projection to the (imaginary) audience (in our lounge room) has made a progressive jump disproportionate to normal development.

Dear WAPS Staff, Organisers, and parent helpers, Thank you for your amazing efforts in organising and managing such an entertaining and rewarding Junior Concert. It was a wonderful confidence-building exercise and it was heart-warming to see that the junior performers enjoyed themselves on stage, too. As a parent, I am sincerely grateful for how well you looked after the children backstage and it was charming to watch the teachers leading the younger ones on stage, especially the patient and graceful Miss Sarah (whom my daughter Zahra adores). We hope to enrol Zahra for the Friday afternoon Tiny Ballerinas class next year, so I’ll be getting onto it soon. Best wishes for a merry season and here’s to a gorgeous year ahead!
