Maddy has thoroughly enjoyed dancing this year, especially her ballet! Your teaching and encouragement has really helped her learn and improve as a dancer. She is really looking forward to next year!
I just want to say what an incredible place WAPS is. It’s a truly magical haven where I not only feel I can be myself but better myself at the same time. As well as going from someone with next to zero dance experience to someone with growing skills that I’m so proud of, I have also grown so much personally this last twelve months and it is thanks to the incredible staff. Dear Stella and team, Just a short note to say how incredibly impressed I was with today’s Junior concert. No doubt the logistics required to produce such a seamless event would have been huge from sourcing the costumes, ensuring each child was dressed and ready on time, the tight routines, communicating expectations to parents, coordinating the rehearsals etc etc. I commend you and your staff for such a professional and enjoyable production. Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.
Big thank you for a gorgeous night! Fabulous Christmas to you all, thank you for making Chanelle’s year so special she has had a wonderful first year at WAPS.
Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!
I’d like to start this email by commending WAPS for the pro-active and innovative way you have managed the current COVID-19 situation we are experiencing – they way you were able to embrace and mobilize technology, and your excellent communications, to keep classes running has been really impressive. Sadly not all kids activities have managed to do this so as a parent now grappling with school and work at home, I am truly grateful and my daughter is loving her Zoom classes!
I have seen a huge improvement with her focus on dance and school work. I would like to thank all her dance teachers for guiding her and giving her the confidence to “give it a go
I am so glad that not only I found dance but I found it at a place that has the most incredible staff and students. When you do something that is out of your comfort zone you want to be in an environment that makes you feel safe, secure and supported and that is exactly what you guys have here. Every time I come to dance I feel like I am with what family is supposed to be like and I love every minute of it.
