We are teaming up with our friends at Lady Velvet Cabaret to present a short course especially for adults in Musical Theatre!

Students will take part in two three-hour Sunday sessions (on 28th September and 5th October) at The WA Performance School’s Subiaco studio where they’ll learn a song & dance number from Bob Fosse’s musical ‘Cabaret’ (film). Students will learn the song, dance routine, and characterisation & acting tips, and will have the option to perform a short solo in the number too (don’t worry if you’re not keen, it’s not compulsory!).

Students who elect to perform will get to participate in the Lady Velvet Cabaret’s Fifth Anniversary Gala Event at The Bakery, Northbridge. This is a great chance to get the full Cabaret stage show experience – costumes, styling, backstage prep and performance time! With two instructors helping you prepare, you’ll be in safe hands and really get the chance to shine onstage at a professional cabaret show.

$99 covers your enrolment, both class sessions with two instructors, rehearsal time at the venue and your performance (and entry into the show).
