Book Week Fancy Dress Fundraiser

Join us in Week Nine (Monday September 10th – Saturday September 15th) for a whole week of BOOK WEEK FANCY DRESS FUN! The Cat in the Hat, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, Spiderman and more – why not get together with a friend and arrange a theme!? The possibilities are endless and we cannot wait to see what you come up with! All profits raised will go towards WAPS students travelling to America for the Dance Excellence program in April, 2019!

Dress up for your change to WIN a prize – you’ll receive one raffle entry for each day in fancy dress!

BOOK WEEK Fancy Dress Week is open to ALL of our students – juniors, seniors and adults! Please ensure that all dress ups are safe to dance in, and you can still move easily and safely during class. If you take multiple classes per day, you only need to donate once per day you are in fancy dress.

Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!
