I am so glad that not only I found dance but I found it at a place that has the most incredible staff and students. When you do something that is out of your comfort zone you want to be in an environment that makes you feel safe, secure and supported and that is exactly what you guys have here. Every time I come to dance I feel like I am with what family is supposed to be like and I love every minute of it. Whether I arrive in a positive headspace or not, I always leave at least slightly better β¦ Read more
Dancing at DEX was an unforgettable experience that has taught me so much as a dancer and educator. To learn from some of my idols and perform on an international scale was incredible and the lessons learned and friends made will stay with me for a long time! Seeing the growing confidence and boost in skills of all WAPS dance team members has been fantastic and I can see the long-term benefits of the trip will be felt in the studio for years to come.
Hi Sarah, A big thank you to you, Beau, Stella and Cam today! Nicholas told me his party was awesome! He really enjoyed the games and learning some new dance moves. Thank you for making it so easy for me to organise π
The best thing I achieved as a dancer on this trip was multiple turns. And it made me realise dance is something I want to do for the rest of my life. An instructor who really inspired me was Heidi Jarrett because she is always happy and energetic, even when she makes a mistake she just smiles. One of my favourite masterclasses was African Dance because it was very different to something I would usually do.
Thank you so much for providing the virtual classes during COVID-19 lockdown… It not only provides an activity for our children but a way to maintain some sense of normality and routine in this unsettling time. Your dedication to the students is greatly appreciated. It is a great way for them to maintain some skills, connection with their dance community and of course have fun!!
WOW! Every year I think you can’t top the previous year….but you did it again! As always, sensational costumes, great music and fantastic entertainment.
We wanted to say thank you to all of the teachers and assistants who have taught her so much over the last couple of years. She has really grown in her skill level and confidence, and I am very grateful for all the time taken for her, and also the faith that has been put in her abilities by her teachers. WAPS is an amazing dance school, and provided her with many opportunities that she would never have had otherwise.
Thank you so much for creating such a great and welcoming place and I’ll continue to recommend the studio to all of my friends. Hopefully I’ll be able to still come see the shows and support the girls in the future!
Just wanted to say thank you for attending the Chilli Fest β the ladies were great! They looked awesome and had so much fun having photos, dancing and providing atmosphere at the festival (even helping out at the chilli eating comp!)
The concert was fantastic!! What talented students you have at WAPS. And the costumes are gorgeous!
