Peter Combe performs with WAPS students at Fringe World

Peter Combe returns with a new joyous show for kids, and adults who are still kids at heart – performing alongside the singers and dancers of The WA Performance School. New songs from his Live It Up collection, plus the old faves Newspaper Mama, Juicy Juicy Green Grass, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Ting Tang Teng Tong and probably every child’s favourite Wash Your Face in Orange Juice. So Fry An Egg On A Slippery Dip and Sing!

The best thing I achieved as a dancer on this trip was multiple turns. And it made me realise dance is something I want to do for the rest of my life. An instructor who really inspired me was Heidi Jarrett because she is always happy and energetic, even when she makes a mistake she just smiles. One of my favourite masterclasses was African Dance because it was very different to something I would usually do.

I’d like to start this email by commending WAPS for the pro-active and innovative way you have managed the current COVID-19 situation we are experiencing – they way you were able to embrace and mobilize technology, and your excellent communications, to keep classes running has been really impressive. Sadly not all kids activities have managed to do this so as a parent now grappling with school and work at home, I am truly grateful and my daughter is loving her Zoom classes!
