I want to say that your teachers are fantastic. Not only are they great at the choreography, dance technique and conveying across to the class how the movement is to look and feel but they are also beautiful people who really actually care about their students – I love their classes – I have so much fun in them and am looking forward to returning back to class hopefully term 1 next year.

The best thing I achieved as a dancer on this trip was multiple turns. And it made me realise dance is something I want to do for the rest of my life. An instructor who really inspired me was Heidi Jarrett because she is always happy and energetic, even when she makes a mistake she just smiles. One of my favourite masterclasses was African Dance because it was very different to something I would usually do.

I am so glad that not only I found dance but I found it at a place that has the most incredible staff and students. When you do something that is out of your comfort zone you want to be in an environment that makes you feel safe, secure and supported and that is exactly what you guys have here. I would also like to say big thank you to all the WAPS team for the effort to teach the kids and organise the concert. It was amazing!!! Your work is invaluable. My Tiny Ballerina really liked the time spent at rehearsals and backstage. And she really loved participating in this gorgeous concert.

This has been our first year involved with a WAPS concert – Wow! It was most impressive, now have a well deserved break. A big thank you again.

WOW! Every year I think you can’t top the previous year….but you did it again! As always, sensational costumes, great music and fantastic entertainment.

Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.
