I hope you have recovered after Saturday! What a spectacular evening! I just wanted to send a quick note to say what an amazing effort you all put in to produce a concert of such high standard. And all the kids did such an amazing job and all seem to just love it. On behalf of Sophia, I wanted to say a big thank you to you personally for the year too. She loves her Acro classes.

I have nothing but positive comments! WAPS has an amazing vibe and classes were fun and I always left feeling happy and accomplished! I used to get very shy about the thought of attending dance classes but WAPS was such a judgement free zone it made me feel comfy and able to enjoy myself!

Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

The best thing I achieved as a dancer on this trip was multiple turns. And it made me realise dance is something I want to do for the rest of my life. An instructor who really inspired me was Heidi Jarrett because she is always happy and energetic, even when she makes a mistake she just smiles. One of my favourite masterclasses was African Dance because it was very different to something I would usually do.

Just wanted to firstly say thank you very much for teaching Ava singing this last term, it’s emphasized the fact that she likes doing it. I just wanted to thank you for offering the class via Zoom. It’s so great for her to be able to join in with something fun every week and continue her dancing till things get back to being able to be out and about safely. Oscar, his friends and all the parents had the most amazing time, and it was all because of how great the Urban Grooves party was run! There were smiles for days in our household, rewatching videos of the dances they created and the games they all played! Kids birthday parties are stressful. Honestly yourself and WAPS not only made this the most memorable birthday party Oscar has ever had but by far the most enjoyable for everyone, siblings, friends, parents and of course the birthday boy!!
