Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.

I’d like to say thank you to WAPS staff for the end of year concert on Saturday and for all the hard work put in throughout the year, especially Miss Gina. Isabella has come a long way since the beginning of the year and built up confidence to do the concert. She had a great time and I couldn’t be prouder!

I hope you have recovered after Saturday! What a spectacular evening! I just wanted to send a quick note to say what an amazing effort you all put in to produce a concert of such high standard. Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

I was so impressed with the junior concert on Saturday. Seemed like there was no pressure on the kids, they just got to have fun, the acts moved through quickly and was really enjoyable! Thanks for all the effort in putting it together.
