Dear Stella and team, Just a short note to say how incredibly impressed I was with today’s Junior concert. No doubt the logistics required to produce such a seamless event would have been huge from sourcing the costumes, ensuring each child was dressed and ready on time, the tight routines, communicating expectations to parents, coordinating the rehearsals etc etc. I commend you and your staff for such a professional and enjoyable production. Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.

Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

I’d like to start this email by commending WAPS for the pro-active and innovative way you have managed the current COVID-19 situation we are experiencing – they way you were able to embrace and mobilize technology, and your excellent communications, to keep classes running has been really impressive. Sadly not all kids activities have managed to do this so as a parent now grappling with school and work at home, I am truly grateful and my daughter is loving her Zoom classes!

I am so glad that not only I found dance but I found it at a place that has the most incredible staff and students.
