Oscar, his friends and all the parents had the most amazing time, and it was all because of how great the Urban Grooves party was run! I was so proud of how Ruby embraced every minute of the dance and seeing her dance back here (our weekly Wednesday Dalwallinu dance has started) her confidence, composure and projection to the (imaginary) audience (in our lounge room) has made a progressive jump disproportionate to normal development.

Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.

I have nothing but positive comments! WAPS has an amazing vibe and classes were fun and I always left feeling happy and accomplished! I used to get very shy about the thought of attending dance classes but WAPS was such a judgement free zone it made me feel comfy and able to enjoy myself!
