Dance in America is something that I believe you just have to experience to get a real appreciation for this art. By getting to be a part of the tour, it truly opened my eyes to just what I can be capable of, even if I am of a non traditional age to be dancing and learning new skills. It helped me form new dreams, and to me, that alone makes the whole experience so worth it.

The best thing I achieved as a dancer on this trip was multiple turns. And it made me realise dance is something I want to do for the rest of my life. An instructor who really inspired me was Heidi Jarrett because she is always happy and energetic, even when she makes a mistake she just smiles. One of my favourite masterclasses was African Dance because it was very different to something I would usually do.

I am so glad that not only I found dance but I found it at a place that has the most incredible staff and students. When you do something that is out of your comfort zone you want to be in an environment that makes you feel safe, secure and supported and that is exactly what you guys have here. Thank you so much for providing the virtual classes during COVID-19 lockdown… It not only provides an activity for our children  but a way to maintain some sense of normality and routine in this unsettling time.
