The best thing I achieved as a dancer on this trip was multiple turns. And it made me realise dance is something I want to do for the rest of my life. An instructor who really inspired me was Heidi Jarrett because she is always happy and energetic, even when she makes a mistake she just smiles. One of my favourite masterclasses was African Dance because it was very different to something I would usually do.

Thank you so much for providing the virtual classes during COVID-19 lockdown… It not only provides an activity for our children  but a way to maintain some sense of normality and routine in this unsettling time. Your dedication to the students is greatly appreciated.  It is a great way for them to maintain some skills, connection with their dance community and of course have fun!!

I am so glad that not only I found dance but I found it at a place that has the most incredible staff and students. When you do something that is out of your comfort zone you want to be in an environment that makes you feel safe, secure and supported and that is exactly what you guys have here. I think we would be in deep dark depression if we couldn’t continue with dancing during COVID-19 lockdown.  It’s so important for the girls to continue to have this creative outlet as everything else seems to have “closed up” for undetermined lengths of time.  We look forward to our weekly interactions and hope to see your smiling faces in person again soon!

I was so proud of how Ruby embraced every minute of the dance and seeing her dance back here (our weekly Wednesday Dalwallinu dance has started) her confidence, composure and projection to the (imaginary) audience (in our lounge room) has made a progressive jump disproportionate to normal development.
