I just want to say what an incredible place WAPS is. It’s a truly magical haven where I not only feel I can be myself but better myself at the same time. The best thing I achieved as a dancer on this trip was multiple turns. And it made me realise dance is something I want to do for the rest of my life. An instructor who really inspired me was Heidi Jarrett because she is always happy and energetic, even when she makes a mistake she just smiles. One of my favourite masterclasses was African Dance because it was very different to something I would usually do.

I’d like to say thank you to WAPS staff for the end of year concert on Saturday and for all the hard work put in throughout the year, especially Miss Gina. Isabella has come a long way since the beginning of the year and built up confidence to do the concert. She had a great time and I couldn’t be prouder!

I was so impressed with the junior concert on Saturday. Seemed like there was no pressure on the kids, they just got to have fun, the acts moved through quickly and was really enjoyable! Thanks for all the effort in putting it together.

Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.

We wanted to say thank you to all of the teachers and assistants who have taught her so much over the last couple of years. She has really grown in her skill level and confidence, and I am very grateful for all the time taken for her, and also the faith that has been put in her abilities by her teachers. WAPS is an amazing dance school, and provided her with many opportunities that she would never have had otherwise.
