Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

She had a great time on Saturday night, it was great to see her back on stage, after 3 very long years of illness. Definitely made our end of year, very special ? We wanted to say thank you to all of the teachers and assistants who have taught her so much over the last couple of years. She has really grown in her skill level and confidence, and I am very grateful for all the time taken for her, and also the faith that has been put in her abilities by her teachers. WAPS is an amazing dance school, and provided her with many opportunities that she would never have had otherwise.

Dancing at DEX was an unforgettable experience that has taught me so much as a dancer and educator. To learn from some of my idols and perform on an international scale was incredible and the lessons learned and friends made will stay with me for a long time! Seeing the growing confidence and boost in skills of all WAPS dance team members has been fantastic and I can see the long-term benefits of the trip will be felt in the studio for years to come.
