WAPS Update: Dance Competitions

The holidays are just about finished, and classes at WAPS commence Monday 15th October!

It’s been an eventful school holiday, with some of our R.A.D. students taking their first ever Ballet exam – well done girls and boys, you did a fantastic job!

Students in our Junior Performance Troupe, Senior Performance Troupe, and Cheerleading class also had the opportunity to participate in the annual Bayswater Dance Competitions. We’re very proud of the fantastic effort the students put in, congratulations to all classes – Junior & Senior Troupes for receving Honourable Mentions, and Cheerleaders for coming 3rd in the Hip Hop Troupe category! You all worked very hard and should be proud of your efforts! A special congratulations to Sophie, Emily, and Hillet, who each performed a solo routine as well as performing in Junior or Senior Troupe!
A special thank you to Jemma Walton who not only trained our Performance Troupes, but coordinated our participation in the competitions, too. Thank you for your hard work!

Please remember that all classes commence this coming week, even if your school does not return til midweek!
