Adult Performance Troupe Update

The WAPS Adult Performance Troupe has been working hard all year to wow audiences at a number of events around Perth. Most recently, they participated in Azure Entertainment’s Lucha Royale show, with their infectious energy and enthusiasm hyping the crowd up for the first match of the show. In their bright golden costumes, the girls did a fantastic job and added a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere to the show with their polished and coordinated performance.

The dancers of the troupe meet on Tuesday nights at 7pm to rehearse their technique, choreography, and for performances, and often attend extra rehearsals and dress rehearsals at venues around the city. This term they have participated at cheerleading events, our whole-school flash mob event and entertainment shows such as the Lucha Royale.

With Term 3 fast approaching, there’s never been a better time to join up and train with the dedicated students of the troupe and their instructor Para Isidro – we welcome enthusiastic and experienced dancers to try the troupe and get the opportunity to perform at exciting and inspiring events representing the WA Performance School.

Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.
