The best thing I achieved as a dancer on this trip was multiple turns. And it made me realise dance is something I want to do for the rest of my life. An instructor who really inspired me was Heidi Jarrett because she is always happy and energetic, even when she makes a mistake she just smiles. One of my favourite masterclasses was African Dance because it was very different to something I would usually do.

She had a great time on Saturday night, it was great to see her back on stage, after 3 very long years of illness. Definitely made our end of year, very special ? I would just like to thank Miss Emily, for being such a gorgeous teacher to the girls!!! She is really excited about coming back in 2017.

I was so impressed with the junior concert on Saturday. Seemed like there was no pressure on the kids, they just got to have fun, the acts moved through quickly and was really enjoyable! Thanks for all the effort in putting it together.

Thank you Isabel for facilitating my daughter to trial both cheerleading and acro. Her teachers were so gorgeous as she gets super anxious, and she was armed with many questions that her teachers answered with grace! We are so grateful.

Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

I just want to say what an incredible place WAPS is. It’s a truly magical haven where I not only feel I can be myself but better myself at the same time. Dance in America is something that I believe you just have to experience to get a real appreciation for this art. By getting to be a part of the tour, it truly opened my eyes to just what I can be capable of, even if I am of a non traditional age to be dancing and learning new skills. It helped me form new dreams, and to me, that alone makes the whole experience so worth it.
