Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.

Dear Stella and team, Just a short note to say how incredibly impressed I was with today’s Junior concert. Thank you so much for providing the virtual classes during COVID-19 lockdown… It not only provides an activity for our children  but a way to maintain some sense of normality and routine in this unsettling time. Your dedication to the students is greatly appreciated.  It is a great way for them to maintain some skills, connection with their dance community and of course have fun!!

Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

We wanted to say thank you to all of the teachers and assistants who have taught her so much over the last couple of years. She has really grown in her skill level and confidence, and I am very grateful for all the time taken for her, and also the faith that has been put in her abilities by her teachers. WAPS is an amazing dance school, and provided her with many opportunities that she would never have had otherwise.
