Dance in America is something that I believe you just have to experience to get a real appreciation for this art. By getting to be a part of the tour, it truly opened my eyes to just what I can be capable of, even if I am of a non traditional age to be dancing and learning new skills. Dear Stella and team, Just a short note to say how incredibly impressed I was with today’s Junior concert. Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

I just wanted to thank you for offering the class via Zoom. Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.
