Something I’ve learned at DEX that I would not have experienced if I’d not attended, were lots more skills, and the experience of travelling on my own for the very first time! I achieved more dance skills and got more confident at meeting new people. It was fun exploring Disneyland Hollywood and Starbucks. From my Master Instructors, I learned to smile whilst dancing, show expression, give it your all, believe in yourself, and don’t care what anyone else thinks.

We really enjoy the classes! Emily is a great teacher, very patient and understanding and the classes are loads of fun!

My daughter left your class yesterday on cloud 9! She was so happy with her progress and the fact that you acknowledged her progress in front of the class. The girls in the group have been so supportive and helpful. Your class is the highlight of her week. THANK YOU!

Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

My dance skills have improved dramatically since being taught by you. WAPS is by far the best dance school I have ever been to and you are the best coach. Thank you so much for everything!

Just wanted to firstly say thank you very much for teaching Ava singing this last term, it’s emphasized the fact that she likes doing it. I was so impressed with the junior concert on Saturday. Seemed like there was no pressure on the kids, they just got to have fun, the acts moved through quickly and was really enjoyable! Thanks for all the effort in putting it together.

I just wanted to thank you for offering the class via Zoom. It’s so great for her to be able to join in with something fun every week and continue her dancing till things get back to being able to be out and about safely. It’s so important for children to be able to connect in this way and feel part of something familiar. I think we would be in deep dark depression if we couldn’t continue with dancing during COVID-19 lockdown.  It’s so important for the girls to continue to have this creative outlet as everything else seems to have “closed up” for undetermined lengths of time.  We look forward to our weekly interactions and hope to see your smiling faces in person again soon!
