Something I learned from an older dancer was that it’s ok to be unsure. Some of the dancers who inspired me most today were the adults from WAPS because I hope I can come to Dance Excellence every year til I’m that age. After our IPB performance, I felt accomplished but also sad that it was over!

Dance in America is something that I believe you just have to experience to get a real appreciation for this art. By getting to be a part of the tour, it truly opened my eyes to just what I can be capable of, even if I am of a non traditional age to be dancing and learning new skills. It helped me form new dreams, and to me, that alone makes the whole experience so worth it.

Just wanted to say thank you for attending the Chilli Fest – the ladies were great! They looked awesome and had so much fun having photos, dancing and providing atmosphere at the festival (even helping out at the chilli eating comp!)

Dear Stella and team, Just a short note to say how incredibly impressed I was with today’s Junior concert. I am so glad that not only I found dance but I found it at a place that has the most incredible staff and students. When you do something that is out of your comfort zone you want to be in an environment that makes you feel safe, secure and supported and that is exactly what you guys have here. Oscar, his friends and all the parents had the most amazing time, and it was all because of how great the Urban Grooves party was run! There were smiles for days in our household, rewatching videos of the dances they created and the games they all played! Kids birthday parties are stressful. Honestly yourself and WAPS not only made this the most memorable birthday party Oscar has ever had but by far the most enjoyable for everyone, siblings, friends, parents and of course the birthday boy!!
